The Ohio State University

Since its inception in 1983, clients of the Business Technology Center have benefited from the support of The Ohio State University. As an “affiliate” of the University, BTC can provide access to University faculty, students, and services on behalf of its client companies.

Scitech
Construct the physical facilities; implement a pathway for the commercialization of technologies developed in the university community, and assist new qualifying business enterprises to obtain both private and venture capital financing. In this way Scitech will promote on-campus research alliances between businesses and the university and provide facilities to house companies that collaborate with Ohio State Researchers, including University spin-off enterprises.
This cooperative venture focuses the efforts of The Ohio State University, private industry, government and the Greater Columbus community to provide a world-class research and technology enterprise development environment in central Ohio. Developed and managed by the nonprofit Science and Technology Campus Corporation, Inc., this complex is located on Ohio State's West Campus.


Office for Technology Licensing
The Office for Technology Licensing (OTL) at The Ohio State University pursues, protects, packages and licenses to industry the intellectual property developed at Ohio State and serves faculty, staff, and students in all aspects of intellectual property.


Fisher College of Business – Center for Entreprenuership
To create an environment that attracts top faculty and students while facilitating academic research and education in entrepreneurship. To prepare students to thrive in an entrepreneurial organization and to spur the economy by putting entrepreneurship to work for Ohio through research, education and community involvement


OSC – Ohio Supercomputer Center
OSC provides a reliable high performance computing and communications infrastructure for a diverse, statewide/regional community including education, academic research, industry, and state government.

In collaboration with this community, OSC evaluates, implements, and supports new and emerging information technologies.

OSC, as a shared resource, accelerates the use of information technologies to strengthen the state's attractiveness and global competitiveness.


OARnet
OARnet, an Ohio-based Internet Service Provider, has been helping its clients reach their educational and business goals on the Internet with a variety of support services since 1987.
